Dear friends, welcome to advice4diabetes.com. At age 6, I developed Type I diabetes. It was so stressful for parents, relatives and my friends. I remember when my mom and dad were blaming each other thinking that my diabetes is their fault. I have a great family who help me leave with diabetes and pursue my goals. I graduated from Maria College with AAS degree in nursing and started my career at Albany Medical Center. After September 11, I moved to New York to be close to my family. At present time I’m working at Brooklyn VA Hospital. In 2012, I became Certified Diabetes Educator, it was a dream of all my life.
What is different or unique on my website? -
One of the most important things is how you can cope with diabetes. We need true information about insulin pumps, infusion sets and glucometers without influence of the companies.
I’m planning to add a blog or forum where we all can discuss new technology, medications, supplements and healthy receipts of meals, but most important provide friendly website where you all can interact and share your experience all over the world.
Diabetes is a chronic disease. We have to be reasonable it progressive illness, which can bring complications, better you control, fewer chances you’ll develop complications.
This website is for you.
